What is Pancha Puranam?

Pancha Puranam is a collection of sacred songs sung during temple pooja rituals.

Traditionally, the songs are sung in this order:

Thevaram
Tiruvasagam
Tiruvisaippa
Tiruppallandu
Periyapuranam

Depending on the temple’s main deity, additional songs like Tirupugal and Abirami Anthati may also be included. These songs provide a wonderful opportunity for all ages to gather in devotion.
