Sangeetham is the ancient Tamil word for music, a sacred art form rooted in over 2,000 years of South Indian cultural heritage. At Laxmi Music Academy, we bring this rich legacy to life through structured Carnatic music education in Vocal, Veenai, Violin, Mridangam, Tabla, and Harmonium.

Who are the teachers at Sangeetham?+

Teacher Nanthini with 15 years of teaching experience, Master Bala with 22 years, and Mataji Laxmi with 49 years, bringing 86 years of combined experience guiding students from complete beginners to confident performers.

Do I need any experience to join?+

Not at all. Most of our students walk in with zero background. Our entire teaching method is built around starting from scratch.

Where are the classes held?+

Physical classes are in Puchong, Malaysia. Online classes run on Zoom for students across Malaysia and beyond.

From age 5 all the way to 70+. We have students of every age and we tailor the pace to each one.
