We celebrate Navarathri every year as a triumph of Goddes Durga over the demon Mahisasura. The celebration lasts 9 nights, each devoted to Maa Durga and her 9 avatars.

The Goddess Siddhidhatri is the primary deity on Navaratri’s 9th day.
