Story of how Ganesha outsmarts his brother Lord Muruga
Once Saint Narada gave a special mango to Lord Shiva. Looking at both his sons, Lord Shiva challenged them to circumvent the world. The quickest son that accomplishes it will earn the precious mango.
Lord Mugura eagerly hopped on his peacock and flew to complete the mission. Ganesha pondered for a moment and began encircling both Shiva and Parvathi. When Shiva questioned what he was doing, Ganesha answered his parents were his world. That’s how Lord Ganesha won the special mango and outwitted his younger brother.
Lesson: Love your parents, respect and cherish them.
